CDL-A Regional Driver – Good Pay + Home Weekly | Johnstown, NY

Earn approximately $1,500 per week hauling dedicated, no-touch freight from Johnstown, NY throughout the Northeast and surrounding states. Home-time options vary based on your residence, with opportunities for weekly home time for qualifying drivers.

Pay Details

- Average Weekly Pay: $1,500
- Mileage pay
- Stop pay: $10 for the first stop
- $15 for each additional stop

- $15 flat-rate pay for applicable trips of 50 miles or less
- Approximately 2,000 miles per week
- No bonus offered

Job Details

- Dedicated regional freight originating in Johnstown, NY
- Routes through NY, MA, CT, VT, NJ, MD, OH, and PA
- No-touch freight
- Possible drop-and-hook operation
- Primarily live-unload freight
- 5-day or 6-day workweek options, depending on assigned schedule
- Buffalo and Boston-area residents are not being accepted for this position

Shift Details

- Day and night shifts available
- Weekend and winter driving required
- Home-time options based on distance from Johnstown: Within 200 miles: Weekly home time with a 34-hour reset; truck may be taken home
- 200-500 miles: Approximately 5 weeks out followed by 3 days at home with the truck

- For the next 15 hires, a 6-day workweek is required
- Training requires time on the road with a mentor; nightly home time is not available during training

Job Requirements

- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Comfortable with regional multi-state driving
- Willing to work day or night shifts
- Willing to work weekends and winter weather
- Able to handle live-unload freight
- No SAP drivers
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
