About this role
We are seeking a part-time Director of Catholic Music Ministries at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware , to lead music for Catholic Masses, direct choir rehearsals, coordinate volunteers, and support special services. Candidates must have strong piano skills, knowledge of Catholic liturgy, and at least two years of experience leading music in a Catholic worship setting.
Responsibilities:
Lead music and congregational singing for Catholic Masses, direct choir rehearsals, recruit and train volunteers, and coordinate musical selections with the Catholic priest. Support special services and oversee music equipment setup.
Schedule: Two Catholic Masses and one rehearsal weekly, plus scheduled meetings and special services.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience leading music in a Catholic congregational worship setting.
- Piano proficiency, including sight-reading traditional and contemporary worship music.
- Active, practicing Catholic familiar with the Mass, with a letter of good standing from current church leadership.
- Fluent English and ability to meet applicable background-check and installation-access requirements.
