BOUCHERON Merchandising Intern
Rate of Pay: $21.00 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical Merchandising Intern to support the U.S. merchandising team in day-to-day operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to merchandising practices within a dynamic luxury retail environment. The intern will work closely with merchandising, retail, and supply teams to support business performance and ensure excellence in product presentation.
Job Responsibilities:
MERCHANDISING-
- Communicate with the ADV team in Paris to request and confirm stock for JO sales needs; communicate timelines and respond to store inquiries regarding product availability
- Build and maintain product books for High Jewelry (HJ) assortments currently in the market
- Collect and consolidate feedback from store management on novelty product performance following launches
- Conduct ongoing market intelligence by monitoring competitor launches, pricing strategies, product assortments, and event product setups
- Gather and organize key product and visual merchandising (VM) information to support retail team knowledge and selling tools
- Update model stock tracker with new pricing and product launches
- Maintain, clean, and update departmental files as necessary

VISUAL MERHANDISING-
- Create visual product layouts (planograms) based on assortments determined by merch manager for events, activations, and trunk shows
- Pack visuals props for trunk shows
- Monitor and maintain inventory list of VM props across the U.S. marketthe U.S. market
Education & Required Experience-
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, i.e. Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and data analysis preferred), PowerPoint presentations, etc.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Interest in luxury retail, jewelry, or fashion merchandising
Preferred Skills:
- Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Foreign language a plus
