Production Line Lead

Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of their assigned areas, resources, including all personnel, equipment, data and tools utilized for manufacturing subassemblies and finished products as per standard operating procedures.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the production/Manufacturing teams (ROBAL VB/OC/JPAL manufacturing) and achieve production target as per the production plan.

• Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process, observing processes and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, developing reporting procedures and systems in accordance with company guidelines to ensure success in meeting the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity goals.

• Contribute to improving manufacturing processes through solution-based ideation for continuous improvements and use of Danaher Business System (DBS) tools, e.g. Kaizen, PSP and 4E

• Clearly communicate with outgoing and incoming shifts to disseminate all relevant information.

• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with MDR 2017, ISO 13485: and any other local regulatory and statutory compliance in the Manufacturing/Production teams/ area.

• collaborate and work effectively with diverse groups, incorporate the input of others to improve the manufacturing processes.

Training Responsibilities: (REQUIRED)

• Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.

• Ensure training of assigned manufacturing Operators are completed on time.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: ITI/ Diploma/ B. Com / / B.Sc. /BE with minimum 3 years of experience in Cepheid – Any degree

Experience: Bachelors with 4years or BE/BTech with 2 years or MSc/MTech with 2 years or minimum 3 years in Cepheid.

• Skills:

• Hands on experience in supervision /leading team in manufacturing area

• Minimum 2 +years’ experience in IVD is highly preferred

• Must be flexible to work in shifts and weekends as per demand/production schedule

• Proven ability to deliver productivity as per plan & good team player who works with management, operators and technicians to strive for continuous improvement

• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse groups, incorporate the input of others to improve our processes, and align with internal customers

• Ability to effectively plan and maintain the schedule to achieve the set target

• Leadership skill and effective communication skills

Minimum Requirements for Competent technical staff:

Fill the details for Competent technical staff for supervision of the manufacturing activity or Competent technical staff for supervision the testing activity as per MDR, 2017 rules 22.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in a clinical diagnostic or medical device environment

• Knowledge /experience in Statistical analysis, Lean tools, ERP system, Manufacturing systems

• Knowledge and experience with IQ, OQ and PQ validations

• cGMP/GLP experience is highly preferred
