We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager – Market & Narrowbody Fleet Forecasting to play a critical role in shaping our strategy and business planning in the fast-evolving aviation market.
In this role, you will lead market demand and narrowbody fleet forecasting, converting complex industry, operational, fleet, and technical indicators into actionable business insights. Your work will directly influence commercial strategy, supply chain planning, and long-term growth decisions across GE Aerospace.
This is a highly visible opportunity with regular exposure to senior leadership, including the GM/VP level. The ideal candidate brings deep analytical capability, strong executive communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate and influence across a broad stakeholder network.
Job Description
*** Evendale Ohio location preferred , however a U.S. based remote work arrangement may also be considered.
Main Responsibilities :
- Lead development of long-range market demand forecasts using global and regional aviation trends and drivers.
- Own narrowbody fleet forecasting in collaboration with other product lines and Future of Flight teams.
- Identify and implement AI-driven opportunities to improve forecasting models, accelerate insight generation, and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Data Science to improve forecasting methodologies, model inputs, and analytical accuracy.
- Support alignment on key forecasting assumptions, campaign strategy, and retirement profiles.
- Collaborate with Digital Technology to shape an integrated data strategy from Marketing through Supply Chain.
- Deliver forecast insights and strategic recommendations to senior leaders to inform business and operational decisions.
- Continuously improving forecasting tools, processes, and reporting capabilities.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive developments, and industry shifts while building strong external and internal forecasting networks.
Minimum Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or power-related industries.
Desired Characteristics & Experience :
- Excellent analytical skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
- Strong ability to turn data into clear visualizations and actionable insights.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing analysts and contractors.
- Proven success partnering across commercial, operations, finance, and technical teams.
- Passion for continuous improvement and familiarity with FLIGHT DECK tools and lean methodologies.
