A Day in the Life

Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.

This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Minimed’s Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Application support (AEM/Martech)

- Automate error handling, configuration, deployments, and auto healing by leveraging AI tools and technologies.
- Plan and execute end to end platform observability
- Engaged in every new feature development, identify and new monitoring/alerting need and add to the project plan.
- Participate in production support, incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Support AEM and Martech platform (SFMC) as POC for issues related to analytics/tagging/cookie management needs.
- Familiarity with privacy/consent management, specifically with OneTrust will be a big plus

Akamai

- Configure and manage Akamai CDN, DNS, caching, traffic management, WAF, and application security capabilities.
- Automate Akamai configurations using Akamai APIs, and CLI .
- Implement Akamai changes through controlled CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot CDN, caching, DNS, TLS, origin connectivity, latency, and application delivery issues.
- Implement security controls including WAF, bot protection, rate limiting, and DDoS protection.
- Monitor Akamai performance and integrate edge metrics with enterprise observability platforms.

- Improve deployment frequency while maintaining production stability.

Coveo and Tealium

- Provide production support and ongoing maintenance for Tealium and Coveo platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Monitor integrations, data flows, APIs, and configurations, troubleshooting and resolving issues within defined SLAs.
- Support Tealium customer data collection, tag management, event tracking, and downstream integrations.
- Manage Coveo search configurations, indexing, relevance tuning, and troubleshooting of search-related issues.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, and vendor teams on incident resolution, enhancements, releases, and continuous platform improvements.

Amplitude Analytics

- Support integration of Amplitude Analytics across web and backend applications.
- Ensure reliable event instrumentation and data collection.
- Develop monitoring and validation mechanisms for analytics events.
- Troubleshoot missing, duplicate, delayed, or incorrectly attributed events.
- Partner with application teams to establish event taxonomy and data-quality standards.
- Automate analytics validation as part of application release pipelines.

Other Core Responsibilities:

- Develops, documents, and configures systems specifications that conform to defined architecture standards, address business requirements, and processes.
- Establishes and documents system design, parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems functionality, performance and compatibility, and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of configurations, such as existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
- Actively identifies system functionality or performance deficiencies, executes changes to existing systems, and tests functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
- May document testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations.
- May act as a liaison with key technology vendor technologists or other business functions.
- Function Specific: Strategically design technology solutions that meets the needs and goals of the company and its customers/users.
- Leverages platform process expertise to assess if existing standard platform functionality will solve a business problem or customization solution would be required.
- Gather and prioritize integration requirements.
- Test the quality of a product and its ability to perform a task or solve a problems.
- Perform basic maintenance and performance optimization procedures in each of the primary operating systems.
- Technology: Using computational thinking to define technological solutions to real life problems.
- Design technology that allows for the optimal user experience and broad accessibility.
- Ability to document detailed technical system specifications based on business system requirements.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM:

7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree or 12+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
