We’re looking for someone who is curious about data, AI and how things work behind the scenes . You don’t need to be an expert - what matters to us is that you enjoy figuring things out, have an analytical mindset and are not afraid to try new tools.

As a Data & AI Operations Intern, you’ll be part of our Operations team and get involved in real projects that help Hiflylabs work more efficiently. You’ll have the opportunity to use AI to solve problems, improve everyday processes and automate tasks that can be done faster or smarter.

And while we take our work seriously, we’re also looking for someone who is easy-going, curious and fun to work with.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, so your days won’t look exactly the same. For example:

- Making things easier : If there’s a repetitive process that could be done faster or more efficiently, you’ll help figure out how to improve it: sometimes it will be a DWH data connection, sometimes connect Slack with API, sometimes just reorganize a Project list in GSHEET - and you can use AI to help you along the way
- Working with data : You’ll help organize, clean and analyse data and learn how data supports everyday business decisions
- Automate processes : You’ll help make our everyday tools work better together and look for ways to reduce manual work
- Working with AI : You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with AI tools, chatbots and workflows and see how they can be used in real business situations
- Find hidden bugs in the system : You’ll help with smaller operational tasks, troubleshoot issues and look for small improvements that can make a difference
- Getting to the source : Sometimes, getting the right data means talking to the people who work with it. You’ll help check and clean data, follow up when something is missing or incorrect, and make sure the agreed rules and processes are followed

Qualifications

Requirements:

- You can work at least 25 hours per week
- You’re interested in AI, data and technology and are curious about how they can be used to solve real problems
- You have an analytical mindset and enjoy figuring out how things work
- You’re comfortable working with Google Sheet or EXCEL and have some experience with data
- You’re happy to use AI tools such as Gemini or Claude to help you learn, solve problems or create simple solutions
- You like things to be organized, easily understandable
- You’re reliable and pay attention to details
- You’re comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken
- You’re proactive - if you see something that could be done better, you’re willing to speak up and explore a solution
- And most importantly: you’re a nice, easy-going person who enjoys working with others

Nice to have:

- You’ve had some previous work experience, internship experience or involvement in a student organization
- You’ve taken part in project work at university and have some idea of how a project is planned and carried out
- You have some experience creating presentations in PowerPoint or similar tools
- You’re curious about learning more about SQL, Python or Google Apps Script - you don’t need to know these already
