CNC Operator - 2nd Shift

- Operates both CNC lathes and CNC milling machine centers
- Evaluates parts to match blueprint specifications, such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions
- Adheres to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Operates bench grinder to sharpen tools
- Completes daily maintenance
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Cleans and maintains work area
- Other duties as assigned

Professional Qualifications

- 2 - 4 years of metal hand finishing or deburring experience.
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent of progressive related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Haas, Mazak and Daewoo preferred.
- Experienced machinist able to apply commonly used concepts, practices, and processes in a Machine Shop environment.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and processes in a Machine Shop environment.
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Good problem-solving skills.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
