About The Role

The Windchill Windchill PLM Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining client‑side and server‑side customisations, integrations, and data migration solutions for PTC Windchill. Working within cross‑functional teams, this role ensures the PLM system delivers seamless, secure, and compliant support to the UK Defence mission, enabling product data management, engineering change control, and collaboration across global disciplines.
About the Role:

* Design, develop, and implement PTC Windchill PLM solutions.
* Customize and configure Windchill PLM software to meet business requirements.
* Integrate Windchill PLM with other enterprise systems and applications.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windchill PLM solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation for Windchill PLM solutions.
* Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Perform upgrades and maintenance of Windchill PLM systems.

Please note: This role will require an advanced level of security clearance/vetting.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Proven experience in developing and managing PTC Windchill PLM solutions.
* Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture and PLM processes.
* Experience in software development using Java, XML, and related technologies.
* Familiarity with database management and SQL.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
