Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Firewall/Security testing and strong hands-on automation . This role requires technical leadership, end-to-end ownership of test strategy for assigned components, and building scalable automation and test tools to ensure high-quality SonicOS releases.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python .

- Build and support web applications using Django and Flask frameworks.

- Contribute to API development, system integrations, and application performance optimization.

- Exposure to Ruby on Rails (RoR) is a plus.

Frontend Development

- Work with Vue.js applications to implement new features and resolve issues.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize frontend components for performance and usability.

- Collaborate with UI/UX and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Database Management

- Design, develop, and optimize solutions using PostgreSQL .

- Create efficient database schemas, write complex queries, and improve database performance.

- Ensure data integrity, scalability, and reliability across applications.

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Work with cloud and virtualization technologies such as OpenStack or similar platforms.

- Support development, testing, and deployment activities in virtualized environments.

Required Qualifications

- Strong programming experience in Python .

- Hands-on experience with Django and Flask .

- Working knowledge of Vue.js and modern web application architectures.

- Experience with PostgreSQL database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) .

- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.

- Familiarity with firewall technologies and cybersecurity concepts.

- Experience with cloud, virtualization, or simulation platforms such as OpenStack .

Education

- B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in CS/IT or related fields
