Position Summary

The NetSuite Solution Architect leads the end-to-end solution architecture for complex Oracle NetSuite implementations and optimization engagements. This role translates business strategy and requirements into a cohesive, scalable NetSuite solution, with clear consideration for configuration, customizations, integrations, data migration, reporting, security, controls, and change impacts.

The Solution Architect partners with clients, project managers, functional consultants, technical consultants, developers, and other delivery leaders to maintain a unified solution approach throughout the project lifecycle. The role provides design governance, facilitates key decisions, identifies risks and dependencies, and ensures the proposed solution aligns with business objectives, NetSuite leading practices, and Armanino quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

•  Lead solution architecture across the full NetSuite implementation lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.

•  Facilitate executive and cross-functional workshops to understand current-state processes, define future-state requirements, and align stakeholders on solution scope and design decisions.

•  Design cohesive end-to-end business processes in NetSuite across applicable areas such as record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory and supply chain, project accounting, revenue recognition, fixed assets, and multi-entity operations.

•  Assess requirements against native NetSuite capabilities and recommend the appropriate use of configuration, SuiteFlow workflows, SuiteAnalytics, saved searches, reports, forms, roles and permissions, SuiteApps, integrations, and custom development.

•  Provide architectural oversight for NetSuite OneWorld, including subsidiaries, legal entities, currencies, tax considerations, intercompany processes, consolidations, and global reporting, when applicable.

•  Define and review the overall solution blueprint, business process flows, functional designs, integration architecture, data conversion strategy, security model, reporting strategy, and deployment approach.

•  Guide technical design decisions involving SuiteCloud technologies, including SuiteScript, SuiteTalk web services and APIs, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and integration platform patterns, while ensuring customizations remain supportable and scalable.

•  Identify solution risks, gaps, dependencies, and design tradeoffs early; document decisions and recommend practical resolution paths that support business outcomes and project delivery.

•  Partner with project leadership to manage scope, sequencing, estimates, assumptions, and change impacts, and provide consistent solution messaging to client stakeholders.

•  Provide quality review and governance for configurations, scripts, workflows, integrations, data migration, reports, test plans, and deployment readiness.

•  Support data migration planning, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and validation requirements.

•  Define testing strategy and acceptance criteria; support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover planning, go-live, and stabilization activities.

•  Advise clients on NetSuite leading practices, process improvement, controls, adoption, and long-term platform scalability.

•  Communicate complex functional and technical concepts clearly to executive, business, and technical audiences.

•  Coach and mentor functional and technical team members and contribute to reusable methods, standards, accelerators, and knowledge sharing.

•  Support presales activities as needed, including discovery, solutioning, demonstrations, effort estimates, statements of work, and transition from sales to delivery.

Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

•  Minimum of 6 years of ERP consulting, implementation, or solution architecture experience, with substantial hands-on experience designing and delivering Oracle NetSuite solutions.

•  Demonstrated experience serving as a lead functional consultant, solution architect, or comparable design authority on full lifecycle NetSuite implementations.

•  Deep functional knowledge of NetSuite Financials and experience across relevant modules such as OneWorld, Advanced Revenue Management, Fixed Assets Management, SuiteProjects, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Order Management, Procurement, CRM, or SuiteBilling.

•  Strong understanding of accounting and operational processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, close and consolidation, revenue recognition, purchasing, inventory, order management, and financial reporting.

•  Experience designing NetSuite solutions that include configuration, workflows, reporting, saved searches, dashboards, roles and permissions, data migration, integrations, and customizations.

•  Working knowledge of the SuiteCloud platform and the ability to provide design direction related to SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics, REST and SOAP web services, and integration middleware.

•  Experience leading discovery sessions, requirements workshops, fit-gap analysis, future-state process design, design reviews, and executive-level solution discussions.

•  Ability to evaluate business requirements, challenge unnecessary customization, and balance usability, scalability, controls, maintainability, and delivery risk.

•  Experience with testing, cutover, deployment, post-go-live support, and optimization of NetSuite environments.

•  Strong written, verbal, facilitation, analytical, and client relationship skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.

•  Ability to lead multiple workstreams, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a consulting environment.

•  NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, ERP Consultant, or relevant module certifications are preferred.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $102,500 - $139,700. For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $112,800 - $153,700. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $117,900 - $160,600. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
