About the team and the role:
The EDD Analyst supports eBay’s Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) activities for eBay S.à r.l. and eCUK, helping review and approve higher-risk customers, including Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Special Interest Persons (SIPs). Based in Luxembourg and reporting to the EU EDD Senior Manager, the role also supports periodic customer reviews, EDD governance, compliance policy reviews, and continuous improvement of EDD processes.

What you will accomplish:

- Support the review and approval of higher-risk customers, including PEPs and SIPs.
- Lead the Periodic Review process, completing reviews and providing approval for low- and medium-risk seller reviews.
- Help coordinate the monthly EDD Committee, supporting senior management oversight of EDD.
- Support the AML Governance and Policy Manager with reviews of policies and standards.
- Improve EDD processes and strengthen collaboration and coordination across involved teams.
- Work independently and take initiative to meet established service-level agreements (SLAs) and other critical measures while maintaining quality standards.
- Support additional departmental projects and tasks as directed by the EU Chief Compliance Officer or EDD Manager.

What you will bring:

- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least one year of experience in AML or a related area, including compliance or internal/external audit.
- Knowledge of relevant compliance regulations and laws.
- Fluency in English, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Additional compliance certifications are an advantage.
