About the function

About the role
Deliver profitable growth and best-in-class execution across a defined portfolio of On Trade customers and outlets in Ireland. Build trusted customer relationships, translate channel and brand priorities into outlet action, grow distribution and rate of sale, and use CRM and performance insight to prioritise the next best action while protecting quality, compliance and investment return.
Key Accountabilities:
- Own customer and outlet delivery: Manage an agreed customer portfolio and call plan, build simple growth actions, complete business reviews and ensure customer and internal commitments are delivered on time.
- Grow portfolio performance in outlet: Win and maintain distribution, availability, menu placement, visibility, serve quality and advocacy across priority beer and spirits brands, targeting white-space and rate-of-sale opportunities.
- Land activation and innovation brilliantly: Execute promotions, launches, outlet activations and customer training with Customer Marketing, Advocacy, Quality and external partners; track standards, outcomes and follow-through.
- Use data, CRM and forecasting to act: Maintain accurate EDGE/CRM records; coordinate forecast inputs with Commercial teams, collect volume and trade investment inputs and update Vision directly; use rate-of-sale, quality and customer data to prioritise action and escalate risks early.
- Resolve issues and protect trust: Lead customer follow-through on supply, delivery, quality, pricing, claims, credit and execution issues, working cross-functionally and ensuring all activity meets Diageo, legal and responsible-retailing standards.
