POSITION OVERVIEW

- Processing Operator – Milwaukee, WI
- Starting Pay: $28.78 per hour (up to $33.95 per hour with pay for skill program)
- Current Shift Openings: 2nd Shift, 12-Hour Night Crew

Your Work Schedule and Shift Information

Current Shift Openings:

- 2nd Shift (8 Hours, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM )
- 12-Hour Night Crew (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Schedule Patterns:

- 8 Hour Shifts run on a 12-2 schedule  - Work for 12 days in a row and then have 2 days off, 2 days off will be every other weekend
- 12 Hour Shifts run on a 2-2-3 schedule - 2-2-3 Schedule – on-shift for 2 days, off-shift for 2 days, on-shift 3 for days, etc.

​All Shifts Require:

- The ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days per week
- Overtime: Every other weekend, with potential for up to 4 additional hours before or after your scheduled shift.
- Plant Operations: Our facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Perform, audit, and/or collect the cells HACCP checks and documentation.
- Report all deviations to QRO immediately
- Calibrate processing system daily to meet the required specifications established in the products standard of identity (SOI).
- Work closely with QRO to maintain established SOI standards
- Formulate correct slurry mixes for each product with emphasis on GMP’s
- Operate processing equipment to produce the correct quantities of each product to meet the requirements of the packaging department
- Operate tote dumper, fryer and seasoning adjust as necessary
- Observe and control the delivery of product via the product delivery system to the packaging area
- Perform test on product to include breakage, salt, fat, and product density
- Perform proper level of sanitation as required and described in the Processing SSOP's and assist setting up equipment for packaging line
- Must be able to start up the system from a cold start, monitor and control a running system, plan a shutdown to run out all ingredients, and perform a clean-up to sanitary specifications
- Correct problems with the AS/RS system and processing equipment as quickly as possible to reduce downtime on the processing line
- Empty oil; fine catch pans and trash dumpsters as needed. Sweep and wash the production floor as needed to minimize injuries and maintain a sanitized work area
- Conduct equipment cleaning with knowledge of the CIP system, use of chemicals and foamers and other related cleaning equipment
- Additional duties may be assigned by your Team Leader
- Maintain forklift Certification in current status with good safety record and successful completion of all initial and recertification testing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces
- Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
- Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment - PPE) such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net, and gloves (when required)
- Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
- Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
- Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
