In this position...

Ford Racing is seeking an experienced Vehicle Dynamics engineer to join our Vehicle Dynamics team. This position involves leading Vehicle Dynamics development on high performance on & off-road vehicles using analytical and in-vehicle methods to deliver world class Ride, Steering and Handling performance.

This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days onsite in Allen Park, MI.

What you'll have…

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree or related field of study
- 3+ years of Vehicle Dynamics development experience as platform / attribute lead
- 3+ years of experience in chassis systems, Vdyn/NVH CAE or vehicle architecture
- 2+ experience in data acquisition / analysis (Motec, CANalyser, ect)

Even better, you'll have…

- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree
- Experience in off-road chassis / shock design and tuning including position sensitive dampers
- Knowledge of controls system theory related to semi-active suspension systems, steering, brake controls or powertrain controls (any of these)
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving products and needs
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to requested schedules
- Passion for performance vehicles / racing

This position is a salary grade 5 - 8 and ranges from $65,100-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
