Sentara Medical Group St. Lukes is hiring a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant for Family Medicine in Carrollton, VA.

Clinic Hours : 8am-5pm, Day Shift

Overview

The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). One of the following certifications is required upon hire: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification (EMT).

Education

• HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification (Required)

• Certified Medical Assistant OR Registered Medical Assistant OR EMT-B OR NREMT

Experience

• Related Experience- up to one year required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.14 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
