Who are we hiring?

The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the daily cleanliness of Radio City Music Hall. This is a full-time, union (32BJ) position.

What will you do?

- Responsible for maintaining the daily cleanliness of Radio City Music Hall - working alongside Building Operations management to ensure public-facing areas maintain a pristine presentation

- Responsible for completing daily task checklists

- Special projects and duties assigned as required – including carpet maintenance, detail cleaning, floor polishing, and use of specialized equipment

- Assist with event-related setups to support the Event Production teams

- Respond to daily service requests from building occupants

- Evaluate and constantly improve the quality of the Theatre’s cleanliness and overall appearance ensuring that the highest client satisfaction and guest experience are achieved.

- Highly responsive to emergencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.

- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

- Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?

- Will have previous experience with general custodial maintenance

- Previous experience in operating and maintaining floor scrubbers, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and detail cleaning.

- Must be able to operate and maintain all custodial equipment and materials used. Must be able to handle heavy trash.

- Must be proficient at utilizing necessary equipment and safety requirements for said equipment.

- Must possess understanding of cleaning solutions and application of said solutions.

- Will possess excellent communication skills, work ethic, strong attention to detail, leadership qualities and ability to work in a team environment.

- Candidate will ensure that MSG standards are met and always exceeded.

Special Requirements

- Must have the ability to work overnight shifts on weekdays

- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.

- Able to walk and stand during the entire shift.

Hourly Pay Range $25.75 — $25.75 USD
