About this role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Cook to join our nursery team at our Sholing setting. In this role, you will support our Nursery Cook and step into their position when needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a busy school or nursery kitchen
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
- Understanding of food allergens and COSHH guidelines
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, reliability, and trustworthiness
- Ability to manage daily tasks with a flexible approach to prioritizing workloads
- Good rapport with children
Position Details:
- Part-time: Monday – Friday working 9-2pm (25hrs week)
- Starting salary: £16,640.00
