Hybrid role 2 days per week at Scarborough Computing Center (4100 Gordon Baker Road)

The RPA Platform Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of UiPath and WorkFusion platforms. The role ensures platform stability, bot availability, security compliance, and efficient automation operations across Development, UAT/PAT, and Production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Support

- Administer and support UiPath Orchestrator, Robots, Robot Machines, Automation Hub, and Insights.
- Manage WorkFusion Control Tower, Digital Workers (Bots), Intelligent Automation, and OCR components.
- Provide L2/L3 support for production and non-production environments.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, bot failures, scheduling errors, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Ensure platform availability and operational health across all environments.
- Manage bot deployments across DEV, UAT/PAT, and PROD environments.
- Configure and maintain bot schedules, queues, triggers, and workloads.
- Monitor unattended and attended bot execution.
- Support release management, version control, rollback, and deployment validation activities.
- Coordinate production releases and maintenance windows.

Monitoring & Incident Management

- Monitor bot performance, platform availability, queues, and processing volumes.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and operational issues within SLA targets.
- Support major incidents, outage management, and bridge calls.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Create dashboards and reports for operational monitoring.
- Manage RBAC roles, user provisioning, and Active Directory/SSO
- Administer credential stores including CyberArk, Azure Key Vault, and UiPath Orchestrator Assets.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and audit requirements.
- Support vulnerability remediation and security patch implementation.
- Perform platform patching, upgrades, and configuration management.
- Support migration and upgrade projects for UiPath and WorkFusion components.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
- Maintain platform documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and operational procedures.

Performance Optimization

- Monitor bot utilization, queue performance, and platform resource consumption.
- Analyze logs, alerts, and performance metrics.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Support capacity planning and infrastructure scalability initiatives.
- Work closely with Automation Developers, Infrastructure Teams, Security Teams, and Business Stakeholders.
- Provide deployment and production support during project go-lives.
- Support automation governance and operational excellence initiatives.

- Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools
- ITSM Tools (ServiceNow, JIRA)

Required Experience

- 5+ years of RPA platform admin + engineering
- 3+ years administering UiPath and/or WorkFusion platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise-grade RPA environments.
- Strong understanding of incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments such as BFSI.
- Experience with technology integration (Application/Bot Integrations).
- Experience in implementing AI enabled agentic automations.
- Strong programming skills with Python or Java or NodeJS
- Strong AWS cloud skills as they relate to RPA platforms

Preferred Certifications

- UiPath Certified Professional (UCP)
- UiPath Infrastructure Engineer Certification
- WorkFusion RPA Certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Microsoft Azure or Windows Administration Certifications

Salary :
$55,500.00 - $120,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
