As a Senior HRIS Systems Analyst, you exhibit wide-ranging advanced expertise to direct the design, strategy, and overall architecture of the HR technology ecosystem. Reporting to HR Leadership, you evaluate highly complex variable factors, establish advanced technical standards, and lead multi-system integration initiatives. You network with key leadership contacts across IT, Finance, and Legal to ensure HRIS capabilities enable firmwide strategic targets, guiding the development of new technology policies and mentoring junior team members.
This position requires 3 days in office in Walnut Creek, CA.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Strategic System Architecture & Integration
- Architects enterprise-wide HR technology frameworks, ensuring seamless data flow, integration scalability, and alignment with corporate strategy.
- Evaluates emerging HR technologies, AI-enabled automation, and vendor solutions to establish technical roadmaps and business case proposals.
- Oversees complex cross-system integration architecture (EIBs, Studio, API connectors) connecting HRIS with Payroll, Benefits, and IT platforms.
- Governance, Security Architecture & Compliance
- Establishes firmwide HR data governance frameworks, domain security models, and compliance audit standards across all HR platforms.
- Directs global data privacy initiatives and risk mitigation procedures in accordance with evolving international and domestic regulations.
- Leads high-impact technical risk assessments and system failover/disaster recovery planning for enterprise HR applications.
- Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment
- Serves as technical project lead for major enterprise digital transformation initiatives, managing vendor deliverables and technical scope.
- Provides technical mentorship, peer code/configuration reviews, and guidance to junior and senior HRIS analysts.
- Persuades and aligns executive stakeholders on technology solutions, system investments, and process re-engineering programs.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Enterprise HR technology strategy, multi-system integration protocols, advanced security model governance, and vendor contract frameworks.
- Mastery of Workday architecture, enterprise integration tools, business process re-engineering, and strategic roadmapping.
- Strategic vision, high-level stakeholder influence, complex systems thinking, project governance, and technical leadership.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES / CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
- Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of related HRIS experience (or 6 years with a Master's degree; with demonstrated lead-level architecture experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred Qualifications Workday Pro or HRIP Certification.
- Proven track record leading enterprise HR transformation projects, system implementations, or global Workday deployments.

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $132,465.00 - Mid: $165,580.00
