How you’ll make an impact in this role

- Provide behavioral health counseling services, delivering individual, group, and family therapy to support improved mental health outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish measurable therapy treatment goals aligned with evidence-based behavioral health practices.
- Evaluate therapy progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure effective interventions and sustained patient improvement.
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and community providers to coordinate care from treatment initiation through discharge planning.
- Serve as clinical resource for trauma and personality disorders, providing consultation, staff education, and community outreach on mental health services.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

- One or more of the following required: Counselor credentialed from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Social Worker credentialed from the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Clinical Counselor preferred.

Education:

- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

- LMSW required strongly preferred.
- Crisis Counseling preferred.
- Group Therapy Experience preferred.
