- Schedule: Days | PRN | Clinic Hours: Monday - Saturday, 7:30am -5:30pm

How you’ll make an impact in this role

- Deliver Personalized Patient Care: Greet patients, walk them through their upcoming procedures, provide clear educational materials, and answer questions to put them at ease before their scan.
- Assist Technologists & Imaging: Partner directly with radiology technologists to prepare exam rooms, assist with patient positioning, and help capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician review.
- Guide & Transport Safely: Escort patients between reception, waiting areas, and exam rooms while strictly confirming patient identity following clinic safety standards.
- Uphold Radiation Safety: Rigorously follow safety protocols and shielding guidelines to keep patients safe and prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Keep the Clinic Running Smoothly: Handle post-procedure steps like patient discharge, thorough room sterilization, supply restocking, and inventory tracking to ensure seamless transitions between appointments.
- Manage Records & Workflow: Organize, retrieve, and deliver charts, image folders, and official reports to keep communication flowing smoothly between patients and ordering providers.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

- BLS Provider credentialed through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.

Education:

- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

- Strong familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with starting and managing IVs is a plus.
- Prior experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to reassure patients and communicate complex information simply.
- High attention to detail regarding patient safety, identity verification, and radiation protection protocols.
- Adaptability to step in on an as-needed (PRN) basis.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage department inventory, supply restocking, and medical records efficiently.
