How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Drive surgical referral growth by evaluating market opportunities and executing targeted outreach plans across an assigned territory.
- Cultivate high-value provider networks as the primary clinical liaison, building long-term relationships to position Ascension as the top referral choice.
- Educate referring medical communities on surgical outcomes, care pathways and referral criteria to ensure timely routing for high-risk patients.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to align strategic outreach with program goals and deliver high-touch service to referring practices.
- Leverage market intelligence and referral trends to continually refine outreach tactics and expand subspecialty market share.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
- Healthcare Business Development Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of proven success driving growth in physician relations, medical sales, or a related healthcare field (Preferred).
- Strategic Territory Management: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a complex geographic territory, including conducting frequent in-person outreach to build and sustain long-term provider trust.
