You wish to deploy your wings? What if your adventure began with us? Whatever the job of your dreams, we perhaps have the internship that you need!
Your mission, if you accept it:
An internship offer titled "Internship in algorithm design and development for online estimation of flight control law aeroservoelastic stability margins (All Gender)" has just opened within the Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) Toulouse Division. You will join the department in charge of developing leading competencies and methods in the Loads & Aeroelasticity domains.
Your internship will consist of contributing to the optimization of the global design of Airbus products during the concept phases. You will focus on designing and developing algorithms for time domain estimation of aeroseroelastic stability margins, with a specific emphasis on the non-linearities of flight control laws.
This internship, lasting 6 months , is ideally set to begin in April 2027 (this period is indicative and may be adjusted).
Your main missions will consist of:
- Designing and developing algorithms for time domain estimation of stability margins.
- Analyzing the impact of flight control law non-linearities on these simulations.
- Contributing to the optimization of the global design of Airbus products during the concept phases.
- Providing high-quality input data to the teams responsible for component design (TCQ - Time Cost Quality).
- Participating in the development of leading methods and tools in the Loads & Aeroelasticity areas.
Your tutor will support you throughout your internship, helping you develop your skills and achieve your professional goals.
This internship will notably allow you to develop the following skills:
- Advanced competencies in aeroelasticity and aircraft loads.
- Proficiency in algorithm optimization and numerical simulation.
- Knowledge of aeronautical certification processes and continuous improvement.
Your boarding pass for this adventure:
You are currently in your 5th year of your studies as an engineer in Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent field.
You ideally possess the following skills:
