Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
Serves as clinic leader for RSFPP occupational health clinic at specified clinic. Supervises all nursing service activities for occupational health services. Responsible for coordinating, managing, planning, and executing policies and procedures to provide high quality occupational health services that meet all internal and external requirements. Maintains records, investigates accidents and injuries, prepares appropriate reports for OSHA, and ensures compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations. Serves as clinic representative on various committees and task forces.
Essential Job Functions
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Functions as a working leader in the on-site clinic.
- Responsible for providing direct patient care and coordinating day to day clinic operations.
- Serves as clinic representative on various committees, task forces, etc.
- Provides direct supervision of clinical staff to ensure quality of care. Rounding, disciplinary actions when appropriate, and annual and mid-year performance appraisals. Interviews and hires qualified clinical staff.
- Support and maintain compliance with the company’s policies and procedures including Drug and Alcohol, ADA and FMLA.
- Facilitates associate referral and coordinates mandatory referral cases to the company’s Employee Assistance Program.

Licensing/Certification
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred.

Education
- Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing.
- BSN preferred.
Work Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of RN work experience, 2 of which must have been in an Occupational Medicine setting.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Leadership experience strongly preferred.
