About this role
As a Sales Executive (MINING SECTOR) in Ruhrpumpen you will be develop business and expand the market share in the Brazilian mining sector by promoting pumps, parts, and services to end-users, EPCs, EPCMs, engineering firms, and design engineers. Identify opportunities, influence technical specifications, and build strategic relationships to achieve the company's commercial goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales plan for the mining market in your assigned region.
- Prospect for new clients, projects, and business opportunities.
- Develop technical-commercial relationships with mining companies, EPCs, EPCMs, engineering firms, and design consultants.
- Engage during the early stages of projects, aiming to influence technical specifications in favor of Ruhrpumpen solutions.
- Conduct periodic visits to clients, engineering offices, and mining operations.
- Identify opportunities to supply pumps, spare parts, services, and pumping solutions.
- Record and maintain up-to-date information on activities, opportunities, projects, and visits in the company’s CRM.
- Coordinate with Inside Sales and Application Engineering on the development of technical and commercial proposals.
- Manage negotiations and opportunities through to order closure.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and investments within the mining sector.
- Support market development initiatives and efforts to strengthen the Ruhrpumpen brand within the segment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in B2B field sales of industrial equipment.
- Experience in business development and client portfolio management.
- Availability for frequent travel throughout the country.
- Prior experience selling equipment to the mining market.
- Knowledge of mining and mineral processing operations.
- Centrifugal pumps and pumping systems (desirable).
- Reading and interpretation of technical and commercial documents
