Job Summary:
Leads a crew in the hands-on installation and finishing of drywall systems, ensuring work meets quality and project specifications. Guides and mentors crew members by sharing advanced technical expertise and fostering a collaborative, safety-focused environment. Applies advanced knowledge of drywall installation techniques to resolve challenges and deliver consistent, high-quality results. Drives continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, craftsmanship, and team performance. Contributes to project success by maintaining clear communication with supervisors and adapting to evolving site requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Participates in the installation, of metal study framing and of drywall systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project plans.
Guides crew members in the use of tools, materials, and installation methods to promote skill development and safety.
Inspects completed work for compliance with specifications and promptly addresses any deficiencies.
Coordinates with leadership and other trades to ensure efficient workflow and resolve installation challenges.
Prepares records of drywall materials utilized and progress updates submitted by the team, ensuring all documentation is accurate and suitable for reporting.
Identifies and implements improvements to installation processes and worksite organization.
Ensures all work areas are maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.

Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
4 - 6 years of experience in drywall installation, finishing, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
