# A Day in the Life
The Endoscopy Operating Unit, part of Medical Surgical, has created a business out of disrupting the status quo in the detection, prevention, and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and chronic diseases. We’ve done this by commercializing transformational technologies that improve patient management and standards of care while increasing access to our innovations worldwide. We improve patient outcomes by empowering gastroenterologists across the globe with artificial intelligence and disruptive therapeutic technologies.

We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.

Reporting to the lead Endoscopy Senior Portfolio Business Manager, this individual contributor is responsible for optimizing the commercial operations, sales strategies, and customer engagement efforts to ensure maximum efficiency and business growth within their assigned portfolio of products.

This role will focus on enhancing sales force effectiveness, improving go to-market strategies, streamlining commercial processes, and leveraging data to drive performance across Endoscopy’s commercial teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support.

This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and strengthen Medtronic Endoscopy’s position in the marketplace.

Based anywhere in the continental United States, this field based role involves 50% travel or more.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of EsoGastric portfolio strategies aimed at optimizing the performance of Endoscopy commercial teams (sales, marketing, and clinical specialists).

- Lead new product launches, create one point of contact for marketing and sales to ensure alignment and execution
- Leads field execution for National Account Initiatives such as product conversions, contract utilization, implementation etc.
- Field liaison for marketing organization to drive product messaging, sales campaigns & clinical education initiatives as well as provide voice-of-field and voice-of-customer feedback to Marketing
- Build and maintain relationships with US KOLs associated with their portfolio

Lead initiatives to enhance sales team productivity, including sales training, territory management, and the optimization of sales tools and resources.

- Partners with Marketing, Sales Operations, Field Sales and Sales Training to deliver and lead the training of new tools for the sales force to be effectively used
- Advisor to the Field Sales Trainer (FST) organization to ensure consistency throughout the new hire program (Train the trainer)

Utilize analytics and market intelligence to provide actionable insights into commercial performance, customer behavior, and market trends.

- Leverages data to identify large opportunities across the organization, partners with regional sales team to assist with driving execution
- Single point of contact for Finance and Sales Operations on market intelligence, creates action from the data to deliver to sales team.
- Relays feedback from the field on the Market Intelligence and actions back to finance to ensure alignment

Develop and implement strategies to improve customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction for healthcare providers and key stakeholders for their portfolio.

- Takes feedback from the field and partners with commercial operations in creating different customer acquisition programs and offerings
- Leads the field implementation of new offerings to the customer while providing field training on when and how to use leverage programs to drive growth and adoption of portfolio products.

Travel approximately 50%

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years or Advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience leading and managing the execution of programs and processes in a sales, marketing or technical role

- In-depth knowledge of sales processes, marketing strategies and/or commercial operations, particularly within medical device industry.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA or Master's Degree

- Outstanding analytical abilities, communication skills, financial acumen, business judgment and customer orientation

- Experience in medical devices, healthcare, management consulting and/or investment banking desirable

- Ability to manage complexity and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Experience in a Business Development and/or Strategy function

- Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Demonstrated success in people or program management

- Experience generating creative new business ideas and strategies

- Experience leading or managing teams and change initiatives

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
