Job Summary

Under general supervision, receives and distributes all items ordered for Denver Health operations.

Essential Functions :

- Physically receives and distributes all items ordered for Denver Health operations. (20%)
- Financially receives all items ordered for Denver Health in the ERP—Lawson. (10%)
- Validates Purchase Orders are accurate with regard to quantities, manufacturer item numbers, unit of measures, etc. (10%)
- Digitizes and indexes all supporting documentation and attaches these documents to the Purchase Order(s). (10%)
- Utilizes hand held scanner to record all package transactions from carrier to the end user. (10%)
- Prioritizes packages based on delivery expectations, delivering first overnight and next day air first and so on. (10%)
- Determines necessary action in situations arising during the absence of the manager. Establishes priorities and coordinates work activities (i.e. transportation with supply deliveries) to meet internal/external customer needs. (10%)
- Keeps supervisor advised of operational and other work-related problems and solves those that do not require administrative disposition. (10%)
- Works with Purchasing to assure updates and improvements occur for each financial transaction. (10%)

Education :

- High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience :

- One year of warehouse or distribution experience required

Licenses :

- Colorado Driver's License Class R - DMV - Department of Motor Vehicles required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

- Knowledge inventory management, purchasing processes, warehouse operations, and distribution helpful but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively using the appropriate communication channel.
- Basic knowledge of distribution equipment, such as, pallet jacks, hand carts, and forklifts.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
