Sr. Unified Communication Analyst
Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively seeking a Sr. Unified Communications Analyst who works directly with Cisco CUCM and the Genesys Global Contact Call Center supporting communications between all departments within Arthrex. This person will be responsible for Unified Communication / Telecommunication hardware and software, which includes design, development, execution, maintenance, and troubleshooting. They will be the liaison with outside vendors for hardware, software, and equipment orders as required. Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills and at least a High School Diploma will be required but a Bachelors’ degree preferred for this position. Main Objective:
- Responsible for Unified Communication / Telecommunication hardware and software, which includes design, development, execution, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Maintain liaison with outside vendors for hardware, software, circuit, and equipment orders as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of Unified Communications / Telecommunication solutions and enhancements.
- Analyze and recommend solutions, upgrades, and services for streamlining and process improvements.
- Support of multiple locations worldwide (domestic and international travel may be required).
- Implement, support, and test system patching, hardening, hardware/software upgrades, system updates, and break/fix activities on Unified Communications / Telecommunications equipment.
- Interact with internal and external customer groups to perform necessary Unified Communications / Telecommunications configuration, MACDs or repairs.
- Support of hardware/software maintenance to include troubleshooting, installation and upgrades for workstations and servers.
- Solves Unified Communications/Telecommunications issues. Ability to work with other Infrastructure teams and vendors to trouble shoot issues.
- Complete IT projects and end user support duties as assigned.
- Manage projects and work with groups within the department
Specialized Skills:
- In depth knowledge of Unified Communications/Telecommunications operations, hardware, software, systems, and management
- Experience in Global Contact Center Solutions (Preferred Genysis)
- Experience in network and Unified Communications/Telecommunications applications
- Project management and communication skills training preferred
- Basic IT understanding of network topology, equipment, and terminology
- Demonstrate a strong aptitude for technical understanding
- Working knowledge of contact center
- Cisco certifications preferred, would require this to be completed within the first year on the job.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- 5 + years of relevant work experience required
- 5 years of experience in Unified Communications / Telecommunications required
- Cisco training preferred
- Cisco certifications preferred
