Account Executive

MRI Software is seeking a driven, collaborative Account Executive to support the continued growth of ProLease Central and related product offerings. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role ideal for someone early in their Account Executive career who is eager to learn, build credibility quickly, and make an impact across net-new markets. The Account Executive will play a crucial role in expanding our client base. This position requires a proactive and tenacious approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the market.

Position Summary

The Account Executive is responsible for managing the full sales cycle for ProLease Central, from initial prospect discovery through contract negotiation and close. This role focuses on small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) that manage approximately 25 to 200 leases and require solutions for lease administration, lease tracking, renewals, and real estate portfolio management.

The successful candidate will develop new business opportunities through a combination of self-generated prospecting activities and inbound leads provided by the Sales Development team. This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong customer focus, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution

- Manage the complete sales cycle, including discovery, qualification, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.
- Identify customer business challenges and align ProLease Central solutions to their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers and key stakeholders.
- Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and sales targets.

Prospecting & Pipeline Generation

- Conduct proactive prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through self-sourcing efforts.
- Effectively manage and convert inbound leads provided by the Sales Development team.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent opportunity development activities.

Pipeline & Forecast Management

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity records in Salesforce.
- Ensure pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, opportunity progression, and forecast commitments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Sales Development Representatives, and fellow Account Executives to support customer engagement and sales success.
- Participate in cross-selling and expansion opportunities with other solution teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process.

Product & Industry Knowledge

- Develop expertise in ProLease Central and related solution offerings.
- Continuously build knowledge of lease administration, real estate portfolio management, and customer business challenges.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

- 2 to 3 years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS, technology, or business software solutions.
- Experience managing opportunities throughout the full sales cycle.
- Previous cold-calling and outbound prospecting experience preferred.
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
