LIFE ENRICHMENT DIRECTOR

SCHEDULE: Sunday-Thursday

PAY: $29.00–$32.00 per hour/Full-Time

We are looking for a Life Enrichment Director who can turn residents interests and ideas into activities, outings, and events they look forward to. THE OPPORTUNITY

You will lead the Life Enrichment program and the people who help bring it to life. By getting to know our residents and listening to what matters to them, you can create moments of joy, connection, and belonging. This is work you can feel good about at the end of the day, knowing you made a difference in someones life.

- Plan activities, entertainment, special events, and outings for residents with varied interests and abilities.

- Create the monthly activity calendar and help produce the community newsletter.

- Lead Life Enrichment staff and coordinate transportation staffing.

- Manage the activities budget and partner with Marketing and other teams on community events.

- Coordinate safe outings, drive community vehicles as needed, and use resident feedback to keep improving the program.

WHAT YOU BRING

- At least one year of long-term care experience; assisted living experience is preferred.

- Creativity, initiative, strong organization, and the ability to carry a great idea through to a great experience.

- A compassionate, respectful approach to older adults and the ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate well.

- Experience using a computer for calendars and department work.

- A bachelors degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

- Current Food Handlers Permit, MAST permit, valid drivers license with a clean driving abstract, Mental Health and Dementia training, HCA or NAC credential, and CPR and First Aid certification.
