D&I, Project Manager

The Role

The D&I, Project Manager, reporting to the Head of Global D&I Strategy and Program Management, will play a key role in leading the future of diversity and inclusion at Fidelity by developing, managing, and supporting key areas of the affinity groups and the strategy and planning team to ensure all associates feel a sense of belonging at Fidelity.

This role will support multiple functions/workstreams that cultivate and drive associate engagement and events through strategic planning, leadership development, and coaching of our ABRG Global Co-Chairs and Functional Team Leaders, with the goal of further embedding diversity and inclusion into Fidelity’s business units.

The Purpose of Your Role

The D&I, Project Manager is responsible for contributing to the Global D&I strategy and supporting key workstreams. Passionate about cultivating relationships with the key decision makers, managing risk, developing and implementing processes and procedures, and growing the number of associates who are members of an Affinity Group to ensure a high associate satisfaction that leads to further Fidelity’s Operating Plan, leadership principles and standards by embedding D&I into everything we do.

The Expertise You Bring

· College degree preferred or equivalent work-related experience.

· Bring 3 plus years of experience, preferably within a business unit.

· Current or prior involvement, particularly in a leadership role with one or more Affinity Groups is highly desired.

· Ability to influence leaders and provide guidance and counsel.

· Organization and time-management skills and attention to detail.

· Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; proactively ensures ABRG leaders, members, and partners are well informed.

· Possess high emotional intelligence and interest in other human beings.

· Demonstrate analytical, research, resolutions, and critical thinking skills.

· Confirmed independent thinker that is comfortable holding non-consensus views and views that may be different than others.

· Integrity and competence applying discretion given the confidential nature of the information and scope.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
