Job Title: Senior Healthcare Construction Project Manager Job Description This role leads large, complex healthcare construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring they finish on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. The Senior Healthcare Construction Project Manager coordinates all project activities, collaborates closely with owners and project teams, and delivers an exceptional experience for stakeholders while supporting a rapidly growing organization in Southern Virginia. Responsibilities

- Lead and manage large, complex healthcare construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Drive all phases of the project lifecycle, including preconstruction, construction, and post-construction activities, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
- Oversee project estimating activities and ensure accurate cost projections, budgets, and financial tracking throughout the project.
- Apply extensive knowledge of construction means and methods to plan and execute work efficiently and safely.
- Manage construction accounting processes related to the project, including cost control, change management, and financial reporting.
- Administer project documents, including contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders, ensuring accurate records and timely communication.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to align expectations and resolve issues promptly.
- Lead and participate in project scheduling activities, including the development, monitoring, and updating of project schedules.
- Oversee project engineering functions, including technical coordination, constructability reviews, and support for field operations.
- Manage and coordinate construction of building elements such as doors and related components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Use project management and construction software tools to support scheduling, documentation, communication, and reporting.
- Provide leadership and direction to project team members and, where applicable, manage employees assigned to the project.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain strong working relationships.
- Promote a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture that supports continuous improvement and high performance across the project team.

Essential Skills

- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of industry experience, with a significant portion spent working for a general contractor.
- Experience working on healthcare construction projects.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of construction estimating, means and methods, and industry practices.
- Strong understanding of construction accounting and cost control processes.
- Experience with document administration, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Proven ability to manage complex construction projects, including scheduling and project coordination.
- Experience with commercial construction environments.
- Mechanical construction understanding sufficient to coordinate with mechanical trades and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.
- Experience managing employees or leading project teams.

- Experience with scheduling software.
- Experience using Textura for construction payment and financial processes.
- Experience using Procore for project management and documentation.
- Experience using Bluebeam for drawing review, markup, and collaboration.
- Prior experience coordinating specific building components such as doors and related assemblies.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a rapidly growing organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Work Environment Work will be conducted both onsite and in an office setting, providing regular interaction with field operations and project stakeholders. The role involves frequent coordination with project teams, owners, and trade partners, and requires effective use of construction technologies such as scheduling tools, Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $182000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
