Position Summary

Sales

- Maintain and service an assigned route by visiting all retailers according to the established schedule and required visit frequency.
- Provide coverage and support for open routes or territories as assigned.
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with retailer owners, managers, and other key decision-makers.
- Support new retailers in achieving optimal sales performance.
- Review sales trends, goals, performance, and growth opportunities with retailers.
- Analyze and use sales data to provide recommendations and influence retailer decisions regarding their lottery business.
- Promote Oklahoma Lottery products during each retailer visit.
- Grow the Oklahoma Lottery Instant Game portfolio by recommending bin-count increases based on sales performance and retailer potential.
- Educate retailers and lottery players about instant and draw games offered by the Oklahoma Lottery.
- Actively participate in Scientific Games and Oklahoma Lottery sales meetings by providing feedback on retailer activity, sales trends, and market opportunities.

Merchandising and Retailer Service

- Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained at every retailer within the assigned route.
- Ensure lottery products are properly displayed, in stock, activated, and available for sale.
- Provide retailers with current point-of-sale materials during sales visits, as needed.
- Secure and maintain optimal placement of lottery games, equipment, and point-of-sale materials within each retail location.
- Ensure retailer lottery presentations comply with Oklahoma Lottery standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain current lottery information, reference materials, and retailer guides at each location.
- Verify that lottery equipment is functioning properly during each retailer visit and report or escalate equipment issues promptly.
- Accurately document each retailer visit and all required activities electronically.
- Conduct retailer-level promotions and professionally engage with retailers and lottery players.

Retailer Recruitment

- Identify prospective businesses that may be suitable for selling Oklahoma Lottery products.
- Present Oklahoma Lottery products and explain the benefits of becoming an authorized lottery retailer.
- Guide prospective retailers through the entire application process and complete all required follow-up.

Retailer Training

- Train retailer employees on Oklahoma Lottery policies, procedures, products, and operational requirements, as needed.
- Educate lottery players about current games, promotions, and initiatives while working at retailer locations.
- Provide hands-on training on lottery terminals, equipment, and other retailer systems.

General Responsibilities

- Maintain the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service while representing Scientific Games and the Oklahoma Lottery.
- Follow and uphold all policies, procedures, and standards established by Scientific Games and the Oklahoma Lottery.
- Maintain a safe work environment and an acceptable driving record.
- Complete all required annual training.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in related field.

Years of experience 2 to 5 years
