Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.Our Ground Integration team is seeking a Software Engineer to support the program in designing, developing, integrating, and testing various aspects of command and control (C2) applications. A big part of this role is integrating our framework with the C2 applications used across the system.The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support for full-stack software development, integration, and testing. This is a collaborative position for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys enabling other teams to succeed.Key Responsibilities include:Support programs in integrating and utilizing our test software toolsDevelop and maintain full‑stack software solutionsImplement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processesCreate, execute, and troubleshoot automated test scripts; integrate testing into the development workflowCollaborate with test engineers, subsystem leads, and software teams to ensure seamless tool integration and adoptionProvide technical guidance and training to program personnel on the use of test software toolsSupport tool development on our platform, including command and control, telemetry visualization, and post-test review tools

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Active DoD Secret Clearance
* Experience in integrating, testing, and/or working with command and control (C2) applications

Desired Skills

* Hands‑on experience with DevSecOps, including continuous development/integration and automated testing
* Proven experience developing full‑stack applications (React, .NET, Java or similar)
* Experience writing and executing space vehicle system-level test scripts
* Experience integrating scripting frameworks with command and control (C2) applications
* Space vehicle system-level test engineering experience
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently across cross-functional teams
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide technical support and guidance to program teams
* Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $166900.00 - $309900.00

* For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
