The Role:

Medcan is recruiting for a full-time Clinic Nurse (RN) to join our growing, high-performance nursing team. We are seeking an experienced, client-focused professional with a great attitude who can work independently and as part of a team. This role is accountable for the effective delivery of screening and primary care nursing services for clients during the flu clinic season, transitioning into year-round care and dedicated care.

What You'll Do:

- Provide immunization and vaccination education and administration.

- Perform primary care nursing procedures, such as ear syringing, dressing changes, suture/staple removal, and assisting physicians with basic nursing skills.

- Administer maintenance medications, such as vitamin B12, testosterone, and allergy serums.

- Coordinate with other clinic staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.

- Monitor and facilitate the flow of patients through the clinic.

- Provide travel clinic client education and vaccination.

- Assist as needed in other areas, such as Dermatology, Endoscopy, Pediatrics, or annual health assessments.

What You'll Need:

- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

- Minimum of one year of nursing experience.

- Nursing experience in a primary care environment or acute care setting is preferred.

- A strong understanding of publicly funded vaccine schedules and travel vaccines is an asset.

- Current CPR/BCLS certification.

- Superior verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.

- Experience in travel health, occupational health, and pediatric nursing is an asset.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity scheduled for five days per week, Monday through Saturday, on-site. The role is based primarily at our Toronto clinic at 150 York St. and requires flexibility to commute to our other locations as needed.

Position Pay Range:

Pay is determined based on your RN registration date.

- 1 year: $73,777.60
- 2 years: $76,003.20
- 3 years: $79,851.20
- 4 years: $83,158.40
- 5 years: $87,235.20
- 6 years: $91,249.60
- 7 years: $97,926.40
- 8+ years: $105.768.00

The above figures are based on an annual full-time salary. All amounts are in CAD.

Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within our nursing grid. Medcan's compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.
