As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our Enterprise Integration Technical Delivery team.

Throughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures.

This internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Summary :

This role offers a unique blend of technical and human-focused work as we shape the systems at Cencora that allow our team members to use AI responsibly, profitably, and well. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for user experience, organizational psychology, or education, combined with curiosity or experience in the transformative potential of AI. This internship is designed for students eager to gain hands-on experience in a highly regulated, cutting-edge industry while developing skills in mentorship, content creation, metrics and measurement, corporate communications, and technology enablement.

Key Responsibilities include:

- You’ll be working on projects that directly impact how Cencora empowers its workforce in adopting AI
- Creating materials, conducting research, and supporting the enablement of communities of practice.
- Develop core business and communication skills, explore change management strategies, measure adoption, and gain insights into AI's application in the workplace.
- Create basic documentation for tools, scripts, and process updates.
- Learn team tools and support small AI related tasks across integration projects.
- Support ongoing AI projects, reporting, analysis, or process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and internship program activities.
- Present project outcomes, recommendations, or key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.

Education and Experience:

- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Development, Information Technology etc.

- Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.

Skills and Knowledge

- AI knowledge and/or project related experience - highly desired
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or work experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to receive feedback and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel,
- PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
