WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

As the Product Manager for Entitlements and Billing (Redwood City–based), you’ll represent the voice of the customer, partner closely with Product, Build, GTM and enterprise systems teams to scale the business.

Own how Box sells, entitles, and bills for both subscription plans and usage. You will define the customer and GTM experience from purchase through usage, overage, and reporting — across self-serve and sales-led motions — so customers understand what they get, what they used, and what they will be charged.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Lead product strategy for entitlements and billing, connecting self-serve and sales-led journeys for customer experience from purchase through usage, overage, and reporting.

- Prioritize improvements to how customers buy, upgrade, downgrade, and cancel when usage is part of the plan; partner with Engineering and Design to deliver those changes through checkout, trial-to-paid, contract, and entitlement flows.

- Partner with customers, Sales, SEs, and post-sales to understand use cases and pain points; collaborate with Product teams to translate insights into requirements for allotments, overage policy, alerts, and admin reporting.

- Treat usage, entitlement, and invoice data as a product surface: ensuring data integrity with established controls — reconciliation, auditability, and clear definitions.

- Own the Product platform for new consumption based billing features.

- Collaborate with Build, Pricing, Finance, and Revenue Operations on packaging and catalog updates, to take features with plan and price changes to market.

- Align senior stakeholders and field teams by triaging requests, setting focus, and communicating trade-offs and impact.

- Enable GTM with positioning, value narratives, and deal support so GTM can speak to usage, overages, and upgrades with confidence

WHO YOU ARE

- 5–8 years of product management experience, including hands‑on work with entitlements, licensing and billing

- Proven PM experience: customer-facing, GTM enablement, and deal support with measurable outcomes.

- Strong technical fluency to partner with engineering , owning cross-system architecture decisions

- Track record of navigating senior stakeholders and prioritizing effectively in ambiguous, high‑impact spaces.

- Customer-obsessed communicator who can synthesize feedback into crisp product decisions and clear narratives.

- Based in the Bay Area with ability to work from Box’s Redwood City office.

Redwood City Pay Range $217,000 — $271,500 USD
