About the role

The Women's Director provides strategic vision and leadership for Christ Covenant's Women's Ministry, guiding its growth across the church's campuses. This role builds a sustainable Women’s Ministry, develops new ministry initiatives that reach women at every life stage, and brings pastoral wisdom to complex care situations. The ideal candidate carries significant life experience and spiritual maturity. The ability to teach is a valued asset but not a primary requirement for the role.

What you'll do

Strategic Leadership & Campus Expansion

- Refine and communicate the strategic vision and direction for Women's Ministry churchwide.
- Develop a plan for extending and implementing Women's Ministry programming, structure, and leadership to all campuses.
- Partner with campus and discipleship leadership to ensure Women's Ministry remains consistent and well-contextualized across all campuses.

Women’s Gospel Fellowship (WGF)

- Build and maintain a pipeline for identifying, developing, and deploying Women's Gospel Fellowship leadership.
- Recruit and assess potential teachers, and create a development pathway that prepares them to teach.
- Establish training and resourcing, feedback, and support structures that sustain a healthy bench of current and future WGF teachers across multiple campuses.
- Lead the Women’s team to refine and maintain childcare efforts for all WGF gatherings.
- Track key data points across all WGF to evaluate year over year changes as well as effectiveness of the gathering across campuses.

Ministry Initiatives

- Identify unmet needs and create, refine, and maintain strategies to meet the needs among the women of the congregation, developing new initiatives if needed.
- Assess and refine established ministry initiatives to ensure they continue to serve the women of the congregation.
- Pilot, launch, and evaluate new programs, groups, or events that engage women across different life stages.
- Continually assess the health and effectiveness of Women's Ministry offerings and adjust strategy as needed.

Care & Wisdom

- Provide wisdom and support in complex or sensitive care situations involving women in the congregation.
- Serve as a trusted counselor and ministerial  for women navigating difficult life circumstances.
- Partner with the Care Pastor, elders, and Counseling Ministry as needed on higher-level pastoral cases.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's (B.A.) in related field and/or theological degree preferred
- Ministry experience with significant experience in women’s ministry preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading and equipping staff and volunteer teams
- Ability to lead ministry across multiple campuses and locations
- Understanding of and willingness to minister within the church's statement of beliefs
- Character congruent with the biblical requirements for leaders (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5-9)
- Membership at Christ Covenant, or willingness to become a member
