As Montefiore advances as a data-driven organization and expands the use of digital and technology-enabled solutions, the Product Measurement & Analytics team within our IT Digital pillar, is responsible for determining whether these investments are delivering measurable value for patients, clinicians, operations, and the health system. We are hiring for a Digital Product Measurement Analyst (Senior Business Analyst).

The Digital Product Measurement Analyst (Senior Business Analyst) on the Product Measurement & Analytics team within our IT Digital pillar is responsible for understanding the business needs and using data and visualizations to convey a compelling narrative and actionable insights. This individual will own the full process of understanding what matters within each digital experience, translating it into requirements, working closely with the Digital and Data teams, determining how best to represent the information, and building the solution. As we are continuing to build the new Digital function, this Digital Product Measurement Analyst (Senior Business Analyst) is expected to have an entrepreneurial mindset, work in cross-functional teams, and focus on ensuring optimal insight and accurate measurement. Our Digital teams are directly focused on tangible solutions for patients, clinicians, and employees, and these visualizations and insights will influence decisions.

Responsibilities include:

·         Collaborate with business and Digital teams to define the main problems to solve and the insights and metrics that inform decision-making

·         Deeply understand affected processes to understand insights that drive decisions

·         Identify, design, develop, convey, and maintain data visualizations, primarily with Excel, PowerPoint, Epic Slicer Dicer, and Power BI

·         Hands-on experience developing ROI, value-impact, or business-case analyses, including translating operational or digital performance improvements into measurable financial and business outcomes.

·         Successfully navigate data environment and work with Epic and non-Epic data sets

·         Define metrics and visualizations, incorporating business logic into analysis and display

·         Independently perform rigorous data analysis in a timely manner, ensuring insights that are accurate and relevant to business needs

·         Ensure strong data integrity and quality through UAT and QA of underlying data sets to identify opportunities that capture the right data and are organized appropriately for analysis

·         Proactively identify and measure new ideas in data

·         Create compelling narratives to accompany visualizations and engage leaders

- Continuously improve existing dashboards and reports to enhance usability

Requirements include:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, a related field, or equivalent experience

·         Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, product analytics or digital health analytics

·         Current Epic Cogito certification required. Demonstrated experience with Epic data and reporting environments and Clarity and/or Caboodle required; Epic Clarity certification strongly preferred.

·         Must be proficient in SQL and able to run complex queries

·         Highly proficient in Excel and using formulas to run sophisticated analysis

·         Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, supporting Scrum teams, and using Kanban boards, backlogs, and sprint planning.

·         Proven ability to understand business objectives and translate those into defined metrics and visualizations

·         Comfort with ambiguity and proactively defining metrics

·         Demonstrated ability to break-down, evaluate, and prioritize complex problems into their component data parts

·         Quantitative aptitude and ability to identify value drivers for digital efforts and associated KPIs

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to visualize and explain data to non-technical audiences

·         Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and relationship building

·         Strong communication and collaboration skills across stakeholders and functions, with some experience presenting to VP level / senior management

Strongly preferred:

·         Experience with Epic data extraction and integration

·         Advanced proficiency with BI techniques, database management, data quality

·         Knowledge of statistical analyses
