Job Description:
AriensCo is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Warranty Claims Specialist at our Brillion, WI location to support our commitment to product quality and dealer satisfaction. In this role you will evaluate and adjudicate warranty claims submitted by Ariens/Gravely dealers, ensuring compliance with warranty policies and procedures while maintaining a fair and consistent customer experience.
THE DAY TO DAY...
- Review and process warranty claims in accordance with established policies, procedures, and service level expectations
- Evaluate claim documentation, including repair descriptions, photographs, and returned parts, to validate warrantable defects and determine claim eligibility
- Verify appropriate labor and parts requests based on repair requirements and company guidelines
- Approve, adjust, reject, or return claims as necessary while providing clear rationale and communication to dealers
- Maintain labor reimbursement standards and flat-rate schedules to ensure accurate compensation and vendor bill-back opportunities
- Receive, inspect, and analyze failed components to confirm defects and identify root causes of product failures
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Support, and Supply Chain teams to support corrective actions and product improvements
- Serve as a primary resource for dealers regarding warranty policies, procedures, claim submissions, and best practices
- Analyze warranty data and performance trends to identify emerging quality concerns, cost reduction opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate warranty performance and key metrics
- Support development and execution of dealer audit processes to ensure compliance with company policies and warranty requirements
- Participate in dealer visits, training activities, and cross-functional improvement projects as needed
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Technical Studies, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warranty administration, customer support, technical service, quality, manufacturing, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across dealer and internal teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with warranty systems, CRM platforms, ERP systems, or business intelligence/reporting tools
- Experience performing root cause analysis and supporting corrective action initiatives
- Knowledge of outdoor power equipment, small engines, or related mechanical systems
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely use common hand and power tools for product inspections and failure analysis
