Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced RE Development Scheduler to lead the coordination and delivery of colocation and leased data center development projects across AWS's expanding AMER portfolio. This individual will serve as the Real Estate team's scheduling and program controls expert, owning comprehensive schedule programs while partnering with cross-functional teams to build repeatable, scalable delivery processes that raise the bar across the entire organization.
At AWS, the RE Development Scheduler will serve as the primary owner of program schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent colocation and leased data center projects, while simultaneously working with Development Managers and partner teams to develop and codify repeatable delivery processes. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape how AWS delivers colocation and leased capacity—not only through direct management of program schedules and critical path analysis, but by establishing the standards, playbooks, reporting frameworks, and standardized workflows that enable consistent execution across the portfolio. You will work at the intersection of schedule management, data center engineering, and operational excellence, helping AWS meet the ever-increasing demand for cloud services globally.
In addition to managing active program schedules, the RE Development Scheduler will serve as a process subject matter expert to Development Managers on the team, providing guidance on schedule controls, change management decisions, and delivery best practices. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional who combines deep program management expertise with experience in data center or infrastructure development environments, and the ability to balance speed, quality, and cost while driving process standardization across a geographically dispersed portfolio.
This position may require up to 25% travel.

Key job responsibilities
• Review and validate vendor schedules submitted in Primavera P6 for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements and contractual milestones.
• Perform critical path analysis on 3rd-party schedules to identify scheduling risks, unrealistic durations, and logic errors (open ends, out-of-sequence progress, negative float).
• Conduct schedule quality checks using P6 filters and reports to ensure proper use of activity codes, calendars, constraints, relationships, and resource/cost loading.
• Establish and maintain baseline schedules in P6 for each project in the portfolio, ensuring alignment with lease obligations, delivery milestones, and turnover dates.
• Evaluate schedule change requests and time impact analyses submitted by contractors, providing written assessments of delay claims and their merit.
• Track and document schedule variances between baseline, current, and actual progress, escalating significant deviations to project leadership.
• Develop and maintain portfolio-level dashboards and summary reports using P6 and/or exported data, giving leadership visibility into milestone status across all active projects.
• Produce monthly schedule reports summarizing progress, risks, and recovery strategies for each project.
• Enforce contractual scheduling specifications, including update frequency, submission format, required coding structures, and level-of-detail standards.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
