About the Role:
FareHarbor is seeking a commercially strong, strategic, and effective regional leader to serve as General Manager, APAC. This role will lead the APAC Commercial organization across Sales, Account Management, and Client Onboarding, representing approximately 70 FTE across the region.
The GM, APAC will be accountable for regional commercial performance, including total revenue, new business growth, sales targets, retention, expansion, NRR, and upsell performance. The role will ensure APAC has a clear commercial strategy, strong execution discipline, and a connected client lifecycle from acquisition through onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion.
As the senior regional commercial leader, this person will serve as the visible face of APAC for local teams, global leadership, cross-functional partners, and key external stakeholders. This will also include other functional roles working from our APAC offices. The GM will build a strong local leadership culture while keeping APAC closely connected to FareHarbor’s global strategy, operating standards, and ways of working.
The ideal candidate has led a commercial organization before, with direct Sales leadership experience. The GM brings strong SaaS experience, ideally in SMB or mid-market environments, and is comfortable leading across multiple markets, functions, and stakeholder groups.
What you’ll do here:
Lead the APAC Commercial Organization
- Lead the regional Commercial team across Sales, Account Management, and Client Onboarding, ensuring clear priorities, accountability, and execution across approximately 70 FTE.
- Ensure the organization is structured, resourced, and operating effectively to support growth, client success, and long-term scalability.
Own Revenue and Growth Performance
- Hold accountability for APAC commercial performance, including total revenue, new business sales, retention, expansion, NRR, upsell, and sales growth targets.
- Set and execute the regional commercial strategy across markets, segments, and client types, with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Use revenue data, pipeline performance, client health, market insights, and operational metrics to identify risks, prioritize opportunities, and improve results.
- Ensure strong coordination across the full client journey
- Partner with the Director of Sales to build a professional performance focused sales organisation
- Partner with the Commercial Success leadership to improve onboarding quality, time-to-value, client activation, retention, and account growth.
- Strengthen handoffs, role clarity, escalation paths, and cross-functional workflows across Sales, Onboarding, Account Management, Support, Operations, and Product.
Serve as Regional Leader and Face of APAC
- Represent APAC with global leadership, ensuring regional opportunities, risks, needs, and market realities are clearly understood.
- Serve as the senior local leader for direct reports and as a visible regional leader for other functions represented in APAC.
- Build a strong regional leadership team and local culture while maintaining alignment with global company priorities and standards.
Lead Cross-Functional Execution and Transformation
- Partner with regional and global leaders across Product, Support, Operations, Finance, People, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Commercial Enablement to solve business challenges and improve execution.
- Help shape regional planning, market prioritization, resource allocation, organizational design, and operating cadence.

- A more connected client lifecycle across Sales, Onboarding, Account Management, Support, Operations, and Product.
- Stronger client outcomes, including faster onboarding, better activation, improved retention, and more consistent expansion execution.
- A regional culture that is commercially accountable, client-centric, collaborative, data-driven, and connected to the global organization.
Requirements:
- Significant senior commercial leadership experience in SaaS, technology, marketplace, or another high-growth / operationally complex environment.
- Proven experience leading a commercial organization, ideally across multiple functions such as Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Onboarding, Implementation, or Commercial Operations.
- Direct experience leading Sales, including ownership of new business targets, pipeline performance, sales productivity, and sales leadership development.
- Demonstrated track record owning or materially influencing regional revenue performance, including sales growth, retention, expansion, NRR, upsell, and overall commercial outcomes.
- Experience leading leaders and managing sizeable local or regional organizations, ideally across multiple markets.
- Strong ability to set strategy, translate priorities into execution, and build operating rhythms that drive accountability and performance.
- Experience in SaaS, preferably in SMB, mid-market, marketplace, travel, hospitality, or similarly distributed client environments.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, analytical judgment, communication skills, and ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and regional complexity.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
