Description:
Marsh’s Workforce & Rewards practice is seeking an Executive Compensation Senior Associate & Project Manager to join our team in one of our five Canadian offices (Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver).
In this role, you will support client engagements focused on executive compensation, incentive design, governance, and broader total rewards strategy.
You will work closely with senior consultants and client teams to help deliver practical, high-quality solutions that align pay programs with business strategy, talent priorities, and shareholder expectations.
This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, consulting judgment, and a deep interest in executive compensation and rewards design.
We will count on you to:
- Support the design, analysis, and implementation of executive compensation programs
- Support proxy-related analysis
- Prepare client-ready materials, presentations, and recommendations
- Prepare board and compensation committee deliverables
- Assist with annual and long-term incentive plan reviews and benchmarking
- Analyze pay-for-performance alignment, incentive opportunity, and governance considerations
What you need to have:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience analyzing proxy statements to evaluate and compare executive compensation programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate data and analysis into clear client recommendations
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with compensation survey data, proxy data, or incentive plan design preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, client-oriented mindset with a desire to grow as a consultant
What makes you stand out:
- BComm, HBA/MBA, MIR, or a related degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, human resources, and/or accounting, or equivalent work experience
- CFA designation is an asset

The applicable base salary range for this role is $87,500 to $145,000.
###
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
