Automotive Detailer

Don Thornton Volkswagen of Tulsa is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team in Tulsa, OK. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold our companys reputation.

This is a safety-sensitive position. In accordance with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act, individuals who test positive for marijuana (THC) — regardless of a state-issued medical marijuana license — will be disqualified from consideration for this position. You must also have a clean driving record with no speeding tickets over twenty miles per hour.

Responsibilities

- Thoroughly clean and detail both the interior and exterior of vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and polishing.

- Inspect vehicles for any cosmetic damage and report any issues to management.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and supplies.

- Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company policies.

- Assist with other dealership tasks as needed to support the sales and service teams.

Requirements

- Previous experience in automotive detailing or a similar role is preferred but not required.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if necessary.

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy equipment.

- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

- Clean, wax, polish, refurbish and detail vehicles that were collision damaged, as well as old and new vehicles

- Inspect finished products to ensure the highest quality service

- Understand and deliver on specific customer requirements

- Maintain proper function of all service tools and equipment

- Directly report any damage to the supervising manager in a clear and timely fashion

- Coordinate and arrange work effectively with team members

- Maintain excellent standards and quality of service to positively represent the organization

- Other duties as assigned
