Position Overview:

The Warehouse & Office Associate supports the daily operations of the Bristow office and warehouse. This hands-on role is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, staging, and shipping equipment and materials in support of project teams and field operations.

The successful candidate is dependable, highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing both warehouse and administrative responsibilities. This position requires effective communication, proficiency with basic office and inventory tools, and the ability to safely move and manage equipment and materials.

Kep Responsibilities

Warehouse, Inventory & Project Logistics

- Receive incoming equipment, materials, and deliveries; verify shipment accuracy, inspect for damage, and document discrepancies as needed.

- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records, including equipment locations, quantities, labeling, condition, and project status.

- Prepare, package, label, and coordinate outgoing shipments to project sites and other business locations.

- Stage equipment, tools, and materials for upcoming projects in coordination with project managers and field teams.

- Support equipment and tool check-in/check-out processes, ensuring items are properly identified, tracked, and returned.

- Maintain orderly warehouse, storage, staging, and loading areas to support efficient daily operations.

- Assist with organizing materials, supplies, and equipment to maintain clear access, accurate counts, and safe storage practices.

- Coordinate with shipping carriers, vendors, delivery personnel, and internal teams to support timely movement of equipment and materials.

Office & Administrative Support

- Open and close the office as scheduled, ensuring office and warehouse areas are secure, organized, and ready for daily operations.

- Use inventory, shipping, and office software to maintain records, prepare shipping documentation, and communicate status updates.

- Prepare or assist with shipping labels, packing slips, delivery documentation, and related records.

- Provide general administrative and office support as needed.

- Communicate clearly and professionally with project managers, field personnel, vendors, and delivery personnel.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.

Safety & Compliance

- Follow established safety procedures when receiving, moving, storing, staging, and shipping equipment and materials.

- Identify and report damaged equipment, inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, or facility maintenance needs.

- Safely operate basic warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, as applicable and authorized.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, asset tracking, office administration, or a related role is preferred.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to changing project and operational needs.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Ability to learn and use inventory-management, asset-tracking, shipping, and office software.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented approach when working with internal teams, vendors, and delivery personnel.

- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform routine warehouse activities throughout the workday.

- Reliable transportation to the Bristow, Virginia location.

Employment Details:

- Duration: Full Time

- Hours: 40 hours per week

- Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

- Location: Bristow, VA

Compensation & Benefits

The expected base salary range for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 USD per year depending on experience. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
