Oxford Life Insurance Company, a sister company to U-Haul International, is seeking a Western Regional Director to oversee the Western Region, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Job Description:

- Location: 100% Remote
- Residency Requirement: Candidate must reside within one of the states in the assigned Western Region.
- Travel: Up to 50%
- The Western Regional Director will be responsible for driving sales growth across Oxford Life’s portfolio of Fixed Indexed Annuity (FIA), Multi-Year Guaranteed Annuity (MYGA), and Single Premium Whole Life (SPWL) products.
- The Regional Director will work closely with internal sales and support teams to develop and execute strategies that increase production, expand distribution, and strengthen Oxford Life’s presence throughout the Western Region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Recruit new IMOs, MGAs, GAs, and PPGAs to drive profitable sales growth across Oxford Life’s Life, Annuity, and Medicare Supplement product portfolio.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with existing distribution partners throughout the Western Region.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with current distribution partners, develop new relationships, and recruit new agencies and producers.
- Deliver seminars, presentations, webinars, and educational sessions to PPGAs, GAs, MGAs, and IMOs regarding Oxford Life’s vision, mission, values, products, services, and relevant financial services industry topics.
- Provide product, suitability, sales, and field training, as well as ongoing service and support to distribution partners.
- Assist GAs, MGAs, and IMOs with strategies to recruit, train, motivate, incentivize, develop, and retain producers within their organizations.
- Provide input regarding new product development, product positioning, and implementation strategies based on market and distributor feedback.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regional markets, insurance industry trends, competitor products, product positioning, and emerging sales opportunities.
- Gather and utilize competitive intelligence to support sales and marketing strategies.
- Maintain regular communication with producers and distribution partners through telephone calls, webinars, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
- Develop and implement cross-selling strategies when appropriate.
- Establish, maintain, and improve production goals by product line.
- Monitor territory performance and identify opportunities to increase sales and distribution.
- Provide regular field and production reports to the Home Office.
- Assist with the development and execution of regional sales and marketing strategies.
- Assist with the development and management of the territory budget.
- Develop strong working relationships with Home Office sales, marketing, Agent Services, and support teams.
- Represent and reinforce company policies, standards, and values throughout the assigned territory.
- Attend company conventions, sales meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Maintain professional development through industry-recognized education, training, and designation programs.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Home Office and/or field insurance marketing and sales .
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, including Life, Annuity, and/or Medicare Supplement products.
- Knowledge of insurance underwriting, competitor products, market positioning, and distribution strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and maintain relationships with insurance agencies, producers, MGAs, and IMOs.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal sales and support teams.
- Ability to manage a large geographic territory and travel up to 50%.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience working with independent insurance distribution channels, including PPGAs, GAs, MGAs, and IMOs.
- Experience developing regional sales strategies and managing sales production goals.
- Experience delivering product training, seminars, webinars, and producer education.
- Established relationships within the Western U.S. insurance marketplace are a plus.
