Position Purpose
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle HCM Senior Staff Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive Techno Functional experience in Designing and implementing various HCM modules with Benefits modules as primary focus. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions with integrations across enterprise and external partners and able to lead complex implementations and transformation initiatives.
Main responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Design comprehensive Oracle HCM solutions across OIC, Core HR as primary and other modules, ensuring alignment with requirements and industry best practices.
- Implementation Experience: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM technologies, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems. Act as the subject matter expert for OIC.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business and product teams to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on Oracle HCM capabilities and best practices.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and mentorship to the implementation team, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to project timelines. Be able to do POCs to demonstrate the capabilities.
- System Integration and Data Migration: Design and manage integration between Oracle HCM and third-party systems (e.g., ERP, payroll providers). Oversee data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulations and security standards, implementing necessary controls and measures.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to optimize processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Troubleshooting : Address and resolve technical issues related to implementations, providing ongoing support and maintenance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and deployment processes.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on Oracle HCM functionalities and best practices.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Proven experience as an Oracle HCM Lead with expertise in OIC, Core HR as primary.
- 10 plus years of overall experience with HCM/HR solutions with Oracle & Peoplesoft.
- Strong end-to-end knowledge of OIC, Core HR configurations and integration with Peoplesoft.
- Lead the design, configuration, and support of Peoplesoft & Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Configure benefit plans, eligibility profiles, rates, and enrollment rules in Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Manage integrations with third-party vendors (e.g., insurance carriers, retirement providers).
- Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide resolution for benefits-related functionalities.
- Must have hands-on experience with flex fields, HDLs, spreadsheet loader, functional configuration manager, user defined tables, value sets, value sets.
- Establish, Develop and maintain reports using OTBI/BIP. E.g. Benefits enrollment, eligibility, and compliance.
- Hands-on Experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) is a Must.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.
- Strong understanding of other Oracle HCM Cloud modules and implementation methodologies.
- Experience with conversion, data migration and integration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, HDL, and OTBI. Proficiency in integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware tools. VBCS, Redwood and understanding of Agentic AI.
