IT Supervisor Data & Operations

VIVA Railings is seeking a hands-on IT Supervisor to join our IT team. This role leads our data and reporting work and runs day-to-day IT operations, from the systems our office, shop, and field teams use every day to the reports our leaders use to run the business. It also supervises our onshore and offshore IT administrators.

Key Responsibilities :

- Supervise onshore and offshore IT administrators: assign and prioritize work, train, review work quality, and give input on hiring and performance.

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models, integrating enterprise sources through REST APIs and automated ELT with PySpark and Microsoft Fabric Data Factory, and delivering Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and DAX metrics that give the business accurate, consistent data for analytics and reporting.

- Own business intelligence and reporting. Work with department leaders to define KPIs, business rules, and reporting needs across the company.

- Lead data migrations, validation, reconciliation, and system implementations so data is accurate, complete, and ready for production use.

- Administer and support the company’s business applications, including Microsoft 365, networking, CMiC (inventory management), Fulcrum (manufacturing execution), Fieldwire (jobsite management), Confluence, Ninety, Foxit, Bluebeam, and T-Mobile mobile devices.

- Manage application setup, user access, permissions, licensing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and ongoing improvements across supported platforms.

- Run IT support operations, including ticketing, escalations, troubleshooting, and employee support.

- Manage IT onboarding and offboarding for employees, including accounts, application access,licenses, permissions, and equipment setup.

- Apply access controls, basic security practices, and backup procedures to protect company systems and data.

- Maintain technical documentation, system procedures, knowledge-base articles,implementation standards, and user training materials.

- Coordinate technology projects across internal teams, offshore resources, vendors, and business stakeholders, providing technical direction, priorities, and implementation support.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or IT operations, including experience leading or coordinating technical staff.

- Strong experience designing and supporting data pipelines, data models, integrations, and reporting solutions.

- Advanced SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy). Experience with PySpark or Scala.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory pipelines, and Azure data services.

- Experience building company-wide reporting in Power BI, including semantic models, dashboards, and DAX measures.

- Experience connecting business applications through REST APIs, relational databases, cloud services, and automation tools.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT, data quality, and incremental processing.

- Experience administering SaaS platforms, including identity and access management, configuration, user provisioning, and licensing.

- Experience running IT support, ticketing systems, and employee onboarding and offboarding.

- Experience leading data migrations, software implementations, and system integrations.

- Able to turn business and operational needs into technical solutions that scale and are easy to maintain.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or another project-based industry.

- Hands-on experience with CMiC, Fulcrum, Fieldwire, or Bluebeam.

- Microsoft certifications such as Fabric Analytics Engineer, Azure Data Engineer, or Microsoft 365 Administrator.

- Experience managing vendors and offshore teams, with strong documentation and communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical.
